Breaking News!!!

EXCLUSIVE: As Dakota Fanning emerged as a top young actress in films like Man On Fire and War Of The Worlds, and Elle Fanning began doing the same in films like Super 8 and We Bought A Zoo, the girls had always been represented by Cindy Osbrink, whose Osbrink Talent Agency specializes in pint-sized talent. The Fannings have decided to take a step toward adulthood (Dakota turns 17 next month, and Elle will turn 14 in April), and they have decided to leave Osbrink. They will soon take meetings with the major agencies and decide the next move. The Fannings continue to be repped by JJ Harris’s One Talent Management. The move comes as Dakota Fanning finishes up the Twilight Saga series with Breaking Dawn Part 2, and just wrapped the Ol Parker-directed Now Is Good and the title role in Effie, the Emma Thompson-scripted film that was directed by Richard Laxton. Both of those films were shot in London. As for Elle Fanning, she is starring in the Sally Potter-directed Bomb.

Great job in Zoo!

Moving the action to Southern California and filling out the eccentric cast with Thomas Haden Church, Colin Ford, Elle Fanning and especially 7-year-old Maggie Elizabeth Jones are all good moves on Crowe’s part. After launching his career with instant classics like “Almost Famous” and “Jerry McGuire,” it’s nice to see him evolving from rock ’n’ roll and sports frenzy into more family-friendly terrain without losing a step.

As with “War Horse,” you go into “We Bought a Zoo” knowing you’re going to get your emotions worked. But you come out of it feeling like the tears, and more than a few laughs, were earned honestly —and were happily given on your part.

Best Cinematic Movie Moments of 2011

2) Elle Fanning in Super 8, made up as a zombie for her role in a friend’s amateur movie, shambling in comic slow motion toward her lovestruck classmate (played by Joel Courtney) as he, and we, waited to see whether they were headed for a first kiss. The uncanny thespian gifts of Fanning’s character are a recurring thread in Super 8, and all I can say is, J.J. Abrams certainly cast the right actor. As she’s been proving since age 4 (when she memorably played Jeff Bridges’ tiny, grief-stricken daughter in The Door in the Floor), Elle Fanning is one of those rare performers who can find things in the material that even the director might not have known were there.

Wiki rumours!

This has appeared on Elle’s Wikipedia:

Elle began her singing debut with Phoebe In Wonderland and The Nutcracker, Elle had received high hopes that she is a better singer than her older sister as she would make her official debut of singing with a Elijah-produced song of “Who Am I”, which is set to appear in a upcoming soundtrack of the ABC sitcom, PA Living and is also set to star in a film adaptation of the upcoming novel In A Perfect World which she is set to star as Monday Roberts on an early 2014 release, along with Elijah Ramsingh, Fyniss Frazier, Julianne Nicholson, Oded Fehr and Madison Pettis, including country pop singer Taylor Swift, Omar Epps, Annie Ilonzeh, Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson.

It would be great if all of this was true, but I’m not sure. It looks pretty random and Wiki can be changed by anyone. I googled “PA Living” and “A Perfect World” and can’t find anything about them but fingerscrossed!

Rumored new movie role!

From a curious article I have found, it might be possible Elle might play Judy Jetson in The Jetson’s movie which is based on Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the same name from the early 1960′s! How cool is that!

Wise beyond her years

Elle Fanning, 13
“We Bought a Zoo,” “Super 8″
Elle Fanning, on first meeting, is surprisingly tall (already 5 feet, 8 inches) and disarmingly bubbly. That seems to put her disposition closer to her wide-open, greet-the-world-with-a-smile character Lily in “We Bought a Zoo” than her guarded-but-resilient Alice in this summer’s alien-on-the-loose tale “Super 8.”
“I knew Alice so well, and me and [writer-director J.J. Abrams] would always talk about things and her relationship with her dad, who was an alcoholic and not really there,” Fanning says after school one evening at Studio City’s Artisan Cheese Gallery, where she had joined “Zoo” costar Colin Ford for a chat. “I would put myself in Alice’s place, and it would just sort of happen, I guess.”
She admits playing both Alice and Alice’s character in “Super 8′s” movie-within-a-movie could be tricky: “You had to act within acting. Alice is good; she’s not an amazing actress, but good enough so [the other kids] were impressed.”

Elle might now have Twitter!

Yep, you read right! Our girl might indeed now have twitter. An Elle account was set up yesterday and “Elle” first tweet was to contact Marc Jacobs about her “new” account and he responded, with what it looks like, a comfirmation! But we have to be careful, we know that the Fanning sister didn’t want soial network accounts in the past and their are many posers online. Fingerscrossed guys!! :D
